Across the country, most communities that install Led Public lighting(CLASSIC) can achieve a return on investment in four years because LEDs use between one-third and one-half of the electricity used in old technology. Utilities in most regions pass these savings on to taxpayers.

Why do some utilities reward energy conservation and others do not? A key factor is whether the management PUC implements a decoupling process to ensure that the utility company has no incentive to promote waste. In Michigan, when people use more energy, utilities make more money; therefore it punishes energy savers.

Utility ownership is also a factor in the rate policy. A city-owned utility company will support energy-saving upgrades because it will save energy back to the city's vault. In the United States, 251 cities have their own electric utilities; the rest are privately owned. In most cities in Michigan (but not in Detroit), DTE not only has energy but also has poles and lights. Despite not having such hardware, the municipality has paid a price for LED upgrades. Cities and organizations have called on the Michigan Public Service Commission to reject the proposed changes from the utility company.

Whether you are looking for a property manager to improve your campus or a Bay Area municipal official who wants to control utility costs, you are considering investing in landscape lighting. You want to choose an option that is both aesthetically pleasing and affordable. Led Public lighting(CLASSIC) solutions are a smart way to impress residents and potential merchants and ensure low energy costs.

LED public lighting offers many benefits to consumers, making it the perfect choice for almost any outdoor landscape project. According to some peer-reviewed studies, LED public lighting can reduce energy costs by 80% or more compared to halogen or traditional lighting solutions. In addition, through many objective measures, LED public lighting can be considered more environmentally friendly than other options. It also requires very little maintenance and you can find an almost unlimited number of solutions to meet your needs.

LED public lighting projects are typically more expensive than traditional lighting options during initial installation. However, the maintenance and energy costs you can save should be able to quickly offset this additional cost and save a lot of money over the life of the project. In addition, because you don't need to repair or replace these fixtures often, you can save on maintenance costs, the time it takes to manage maintenance, and the operating costs of the next few years.

Pressure. Francisco Lindor Jersey . Expectations. I want our guys to thrive on those two words for the years to come. -- Joe Maddon, manager/philosopher-king of the Chicago CubsCHICAGO -- Suppose you were trying to accomplish something that hasnt been done in your lifetime, and hasnt been done in your parents lifetime, either. And very possibly hasnt even been done in your grandparents lifetime.Ask yourself this: How would you handle that? Would you pretend it was no big deal, nothing worth talking about, nothing worth thinking about?Or would you admit to yourself what you know is true -- that this is huge. Bigger than Yao Ming. Bigger than the Willis (nee Sears) Tower. Bigger, really, and more life-changing than anything you had done in all your time on this planet.Think about what you would do. And if you spend enough time thinking about it, congratulations. Now you know what its like to be the Chicago Cubs.On Saturday night, on the North Side of Chicago, they will kick off a potentially epic National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Except that for the Cubs, this is more than just a baseball series. After all these months and all these games of grinding away, they have put themselves on the precipice of altering the course of millions of lives. And not just their lives -- but the lives of several gazillion Cubs fans who have waited forever for this moment.Four wins away -- four -- from reaching a World Series for the first time in 71 years.Eight wins away -- eight -- from setting all the ghosts free, from ending 108 years of torture and heartbreak. Its all within their grasp now. Its no longer some cool goal lurking over the horizon, but actually right there in plain sight, within their view. And heres the thing: For the first time since, well, when -- 2003? 1984? 1969? -- the world expects them to do this. Pretty much from the moment the starting gates burst open, theyve been the best team in their sport, which means that, theoretically, this is their time. They just have to be strong enough, tough enough, talented enough and lucky enough to meet their moment over the next three weeks. So we ask you again: If you were in their shoes, how would you be looking at those expectations? Would you deflect them? Or would you embrace them? That would be an overwhelming question for some people. But its safe to say Joe Maddon isnt one of those people. Expectations? Pressure? Bring them on. And dont bring one without the other. My original, initial message to the boys was that, Why would you ever want to be in a situation that doesnt require a little bit of pressure added to it, or expectations? the Cubs manager sermonized Friday at Wrigley Field. I would not want to go into a season having zero expectations and zero pressure applied to you because youre going to finish fourth or fifth in a division. I mean, thats a bad way to live. So, I wanted our guys to understand that those words are going to be applied to us on an annual basis, and you need to embrace them.As far back as spring training, Maddon rolled out his mantra for a season to remember: Embrace the Target. Its a fascinating little slogan, isnt it? The target is that title theyre chasing. But the target is also them. If 29 other teams are looking at them as the team to beat, thats not scary. Thats an honor. Embrace it -- and all that goes with it.And so its fuel, man, Maddon continued. Why would you not [use those expectations for fuel]? Thats the baseball fossil fuel right there -- is expectations and pressure. Why would you not want to be affiliated with that or associated with [that]? I dont get it.He makes it sound so cool and so simple, you might think it would be easy to hear those words and jump on board. But humans arent all wired that way. Humans arent all built with that bring-it-on DNA. And some of those humans play baseball. So it sure is a good thing that Joe Maddon is one of the great spinmeisters in America.I always tell him hed be a great used car salesman, one of his favorite bench energizers, Chris Coghlan, said Friday. Hed tell you 14 stories about this one car, and then youd go, Well, I really want that one, but after these 14 stories, Ill take this one.And thats the Cubs. Theyve bought the car. Theyve bought the stories. Theyve bought into Embrace the Target and all that goes with it.What Ive always enjoyed with Joe, Coghlan said, is how he can articulate it to people, because most people suppress it. They try to do whatever they can to suppress that pressure. And really, I dont think, in a humanistic way, we can do that. Youre just deceiving yourself. When you know somethings truthful and you try to lie to yourself constantly about it, at the end of the day, you know in a deep root of your heart that its truthful. So if its truthful, you cant get rid of it, and you know that.Is there ever really a day that goes by that someone on the Cubs isnt hearing about those 108 years of emptiness? Of course not. Even if every single citizen in the city of Chicago made a pact not to mention it anymore, this team is fortunate to be surrounded by hordes of great media minds who figure out some way to ask about it approximately every 16 seconds this time of year.So the pressure and the expectation is truthful, Coghlan said. You knew that when you came in. You knew that when you signed these guys. You knew that when you went to the NLCS last year, and then you signed [Jason] Heyward, you signed [John] Lackey, and when you got [Jon] Lester and all those guys. So to try to tell a group of individuals that, Hey guys, the target is on us. Theres a lot of pressure here. Youre chasing history -- 108 years. And you know what? Lets just lie to ourselves and pretend thats not really there? It wouldnt work. And so what I think happens, and I totally agree with Joe on this, is that it ends up empowering you because your mindset embraces the truth. And then it goes, You know what? This is true. Everyone expects us to win. And we expect to win. Everybodys coming for us. So lets embrace it. And lets use it for ammunition. This is this teams second straight trip to the National League Championship Series, and a year later, many of the faces are the same. But those expectations? Not even close to the same.Last years Cubs were that team that wasnt supposed to get this far. So if they won, awesome. And if they didnt, hey, what the heck, what a fun year.So even though they wound up getting steamrolled by the Mets, that was one October sweep that didnt throw the entire franchise into a state of depression, for a change. Instead, the manager and the veterans in his clubhouse merely grabbed a hold of that October life lesson and used it to lay the groundwork for a very different journey back to this same place this season.I just think that these guys grew from that moment, catcher David Ross?said, from having a lot of success, and 97 wins. And finally getting over that hurdle of beating St. Louis. ... And then the Mets came in here and shoved it.So I think that they just learned not to take anything for granted and just to stay in the moment, go pitch to pitch. And they learned how fast it can go from all the way at the top to seasons over. Now, 12 months and one NLCS later, the stakes are higher and the pressure is greater. But as the 2016 Cubs peer into whats ahead, there isnt an ounce of fear in the room. Not yet anyway.I think the expectations within the group are as high as anybodys, Ross said. Its just not our way of doing things around here -- is to worry. Were not worriers. Were not going to worry about the negative and focus on the negative. Its all about the process and staying in the moment, and thats all you can control. You cant control 1930 or whenever that goat came here, Ross said, laughing with pride over his sketchy grasp of the Cubs curse history. I mean, I dont even know. And like, I dont care. I mean, who cares? Im worried about the legacy that were going to leave. On Saturday night at super-stoked Wrigley, they head for the stretch in the drive to carve that legacy. Over these next seven games, many things will come hurtling at them. There are losses ahead, ugly plot twists ahead and a Dodgers team ahead with its own legacy to chisel. But the pressure that goes with that? The Cubs couldnt be happier to invite that pressure to the party.Listen, Maddon said. If you hear the word pressure, you got to run toward it. SANDY, Utah -- Javier Morales scored on a penalty kick in the closing seconds of stoppage time to lift Real Salt Lake to a 2-2 draw with the Philadelphia Union on Wednesday night. Melvin Frazier Jersey . Luis Gil also had a goal as Salt Lake (10-5-4) extended its unbeaten streak to 11 matches, including US Open Cup play, while outscored opponents 27-9. Conor Casey had a goal and an assist, and Sebastien Le Toux also scored for the Union (7-5-6), winless in six matches against Salt Lake. Morales earned a penalty kick after Raymon Gaddis was called for a handball. Morales bounced the ball off the right post and sent it inside the left post to seal Salt Lakes comeback. Philadelphia took a 1-0 lead on Le Touxs goal in the 13th minute. Casey pushed the ball down the right flank and sidestepped a sliding Carlos Salcedo near the end line to feed a cross into Le Toux in the goalmouth. Le Toux tapped the ball behind goalkeeper Josh Saunders as he dove forward for it. Salt Lake nearly tied things up in the 19th minute as Joao Plata crossed the ball from the right wing into Robbie Findley, who had great position inside the 6 yard box. Findley headed the ball forward just as Sheanon Williams knocked him off-balance. It sent Findleys header on an angle that forced it just outside the right post. Gil came off the bench and provided the breakthrough goal in the 75th minute, winning the ball on a corner kick from Morales and heading it home to tie the score. Philadelphia regained the lead a minute later when Antoine Hoppenot stripped the ball away from Nat Borchers on the right flank. He drew Saunders off the line with a challenge threat and fed a pass to a wide open Casey at the top of the box. Casey blasted an uncontested shot down the middle to put the Union ahead 2-1. Philadelphia gained a man advantage in the 59th minute after Salt Lake defender Lovell Palmer was ejected with a red card. NEW ORLEANS -- Lakers guard Nick Young suffered a right Achilles tendon strain in the first quarter of Tuesday nights 105-88 loss to the?New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center and did not return. Cheap Adidas Superstar Free Shipping .?Young is expected to undergo an MRI on Wednesday in Chicago, ahead of the Lakers matchup with the Bulls, according to the team.It will be tough, Lakers coach Luke Walton said. Without breaking up that second unit -- the filling in the shooting guard spot while DAngelo [Russell] is already hurt -- well have to get creative. The 31-year-old Young did not put weight on his right leg as he was carried into the locker room on the arms of two teammates after suffering the injury in the first quarter. After contesting a fast-break layup by the Pelicans Tim Frazier with 10:18 to play in the quarter, Young hopped on his left leg around the baseline before collapsing in front of the scorers table. Timeout was called as Young grabbed at his right foot in apparent pain. Young was attended to by a member of the Lakers training staff before being carried into the locker room.Young has undergone a mild resurgence in his fourth season with the Lakers. The 10-year veteran has started all 18 games in which he has played and is averaging 14.1 points per game and a career-high 41.8 percent from the 3-point arc in his first season under Walton.ESPNs Baxter Holmes and The Associated Press contributed to this report. The Olympic champion curler and TSN curling analyst immediately went online to look at the Halls long list of honoured members. Thats when the enormity of the honour sunk in. One loss didnt really cost No. 5 Clemson a shot at the national title. A second one wont be as forgiving. The Tigers (9-1, 6-1 ACC, No. 4 CFP) are still in control of the leagues Atlantic Division, and remained in the top four of the College Football Playoff rankings -- even after Pittsburgh beat them last week.A loss at Wake Forest (6-4, 3-3) on Saturday night, though, would change everything.Quarterback Deshaun Watson called that one-point loss to Pitt a good learning lesson before pointing out that its something they know they cant afford to experience again.I havent had too many losses, especially in college, Watson said. Its new around here. But you live and you learn. Youre going to take losses at some point in your life. Everyones not perfect. Theres no one thats playing football right now thats completely undefeated, regardless if youre a player or a coach. Its a good time to learn and grow from it.With a win, Clemson will wrap up a share of the division title with Louisville and would earn a spot in the ACC championship game in two weeks in Orlando, Florida. A loss, and its the Cardinals who will represent the Atlantic Division -- and would move into prime position to claim one of the four playoff spots.Wake Forest felt the potency of those Cardinals last week, and now wants to do a better job of playing the full 60 minutes against Clemson. The Demon Deacons led Louisville and had Heisman Trophy front-runner Lamar Jackson bottled up through three quarters before the Cardinals reeled off 34 points in the fourth quarter of a 44-12 victory.I told the team that you battled your butt off and had everyone in the country turning the channel to see the fourth quarter of a Wake Forest football game and we didnt finish the deal, coach Dave Clawson said. What can we learn from that? I think the lesson is to beat a team of that calibber, you have to execute for four quarters. Cheap Adidas Superstar China. If there is any let up, a team like that makes you pain instantly and dearly.---Some other things to know about the Clemson-Wake Forest game:WATSONS TENDENCIES: Watson is passing more often and throwing less frequently than he did last year when he was a Heisman finalist. The Clemson QB is averaging five more pass attempts and four fewer rushes than in 2014, though those passing numbers might be skewed by the 70 throws he made against Pitt last week. Hes rushed eight times or fewer in three of his last five games.TURNOVER MARGIN: Takeaways are always key and Wake Forest can give itself a chance at the upset by continuing to force turnovers. The Demon Deacons lead the ACC with a turnover margin of plus-9 -- a marked improvement over last year, when they were minus-13 -- and Watson threw three interceptions in the loss to Pitt.DABO VS. WAKE: Clemson coach Dabo Swinney is 7-0 against the Demon Deacons and the combined score is 264-94. Wake Forests last win in the series came in 2008 and three days after the game the Tigers parted ways with then-coach Tommy Bowden and promoted Swinney on an interim basis.ONE WHO GOT AWAY: Keep an eye on Clemson DT Dexter Lawrence, a freshman from Wake Forest, North Carolina, who had nine tackles in the Pitt loss while also recovering a fumble and blocking two kicks. Only three other players in school history have that many blocks in one game.---AP Sports Writer Pete Iacobelli in Clemson, South Carolina, contributed to this report.---Follow Joedy McCreary at http://twitter.com/joedyap. Barring any mechanical problems, Mercedes chairman Niki Lauda believes Nico Rosberg is well on his way to becoming a world champion. Jarius Wright Jersey .After securing his ninth victory of the season, Rosberg now holds a 33-point lead over teammate Lewis Hamilton and needs only three second-place finishes and a third-place finish to secure the title at the remaining four races. Even though Rosberg has only finished second once this season and often struggled when Hamilton has been winning, Lauda does not see the German throwing away the title at this stage.Nico is doing everything right at the moment, he said. If everything is going normal, the championship could be decided in the next few races, and Lewis wont be able to catch Nico any more. This is perfectly clear to me.It is only lost and won when the points are gathered, but if nothing happens to either car, I dont think Lewis will be able to turn it around again.Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff is not convinced the last four races will be quite so straightforward, but says both drivers will be free to race. Now its finally mathematically between only our two boys, he said. The gap in the Championship is now 33 points and we will let them battle it out in a clean race to the end. If this season has shown one thing, its that anything can happen and big swings are possible. There are 100 points still to be scored and a lot of racing still to go. Tom Johnson Jersey . Arsenal will have loads of the ball and then bang, Leicester will hit them on the counter.Arsenal have got to be careful. Leicester are nowhere near as good a team as Arsenal but they play a certain way which can majorly hurt them. Wenger also thinks Leicester are as good as anybody in Premier League at the moment This game will come down to how the first 25 minutes pans out. If Arsenal score early I fancy them to run away with it but if they dont I fancy Leicester.Arsenal will continue to bomb forward for a goal and that plays right into the hands of the leagues best counter attacking side.
