I began playing TBC Classic a week ago, and as a new player from FryeJacob's blog

Half of the classes in vanilla didn't want their tier gear because it was uninspiring or WOW Classic TBC Gold was not compatible with their spec (feral Druid, DPS warrior, etc). In my opinion, all gear from tiers in vanilla is decent, and some even go as far as bis. Overall I'm of the opinion that there's less need to wait for tier gear to be decently geared.

In the case of mc, for example, there's a few upgrades for the feral tank. And some were extremely sought after (accuria and the agi-cloak off the rag). Tier gear was not useful other aside from a few pieces that were suitable for a fire resist tank set. Other items dropped (heavy iron ring in dark brown, fireguard shoulders) weren't sold as there was no demand for them so it wasn't all that interesting.

Although , it's not as memorable as the other options I think that's due to the fact that there are more choices. There are three possible pants. One from heroic, one from Kara and one crafted, it is just barely edging out the other items. Vanilla takes you from the dungeon up to the upgrade stage for that phase.

Vanilla was one of the most unique gear , however TBC gear is memorable. You have DST, stunherald/lionheart, Ashes of alar, warglavies, spellstrike/spellfire/shadoweave sets, Latros shifting sword, the sun eater (not meta but still a status item back in the day on priv servers). There's plenty of items however they're not the same as vanilla. Wotlk goes downhill rapidly, most likely due to two issues. It's not a good idea to use Naxx 15x2.

I began playing TBC Classic a week ago, and as a new player, I'd like to get directions for the zones as well as dungeons and raids in Outland. The game can be played as they appear on buy TBC Classic Gold maps. But, I prefer to play in chronological order, lore-wise. I completed all the quests within Hellfire Peninsula, the two dungeons in Hellfire Citadel, and all the quests in Zangarmarsh in the Serpent Lake dungeons. Now I have quests in different zones, and I'm feeling confused.
